Information and regulations concerning submissions to Toledo Artists’ Club Gallery shows

ALL WORK MUST BE SUITABLY FRAMED UNDER ACRYLIC (exceptions: pastels may be under glass; glazing is not required for canvas; framing for canvas is required if sides are not part of the painting) with wire, ready to hang (no sawtooth hangers).

Submitted work must be original (no giclees, not copied, not done in a class or workshop). Maximum framed size: 36” x 48”. TAC reserves the right to refuse any subject deemed unsuitable.

ENTRY FEES (no refunds):
TAC active and lifetime members: $10 per entry, or 3 for $25 (Only one voucher per person per show).
TAC associate members and non-members: $15 per entry or 3 for $40

ENTRIES: Three (3) works may be entered per individual. Attach official entry form to upper left-hand corner on the back of framed work or the bottom of 3-D works.

BEST OF SHOW: $50 and ribbon
FIRST PLACE: $40 and ribbon
SECOND PLACE: $30 and ribbon
THIRD PLACE: $20 and ribbon
HONORABLE MENTION (up to 3): ribbon
MERIT AWARD (up to 3): ribbon
MOST POPULAR (peoples’ choice): ribbon

All sales will be handled by the TAC, which retains a 30% commission.

PICK-UP: Accepted works can be picked up during office hours after the show. EXHIBITED WORK MUST REMAIN HANGING FOR THE DURATION OF THE SHOW UNLESS IT IS SOLD.

When submitting a work of art to a TAC exhibition, the artist agrees to:
  • comply fully with the terms in the Prospectus
  • indemnify and hold harmless The Toledo Artists’ Club and its members from all liability, loss or claims for or arising out of the use of its facilities. Care will be taken in handling works of art, but the Toledo Artists’ Club will not be responsible for damage or loss, whatever the cause
  • grant the Toledo Artists’ Club permission to reproduce images of his/her artwork for publicity or publication. Any image will be credited with the name of the artist and title of the work.
