The Toledo Artists’ Club is pleased to present the New Member Show, featuring artwork by members who joined the club since January 2025.
This exhibition is an Artists’ Choice show, giving participating artists the opportunity to showcase work that best represents their creative vision, style, and interests. There is no specific theme, allowing artists to submit pieces in any subject matter, medium, or technique.
The New Member Show celebrates the talent, diversity, and fresh perspectives of our newest members while introducing them to the Toledo Artists’ Club community. We invite visitors to enjoy this unique collection of artwork and discover the many voices that make our organization vibrant and inspiring.
Artists are encouraged to submit work that reflects their individual artistic journey and highlights their personal strengths and creativity.
Media are limited to painting, drawing, photography, and reasonable three-dimensional work. The maximum frame size for flat work is 36 inches WIDE. Artists are invited to submit digital images (.JPG) of up to three original works of art. All submissions must be made through the online application. The show will be promoted on the Toledo Artists' Club website and Facebook page, to the public, and area art organizations.
All artwork must be original and not produced in a paint along class or workshop. Work should not be a copy of another artist's work. Artwork that received an award in any previous exhibition at the Toledo Artists’ Club can be submitted but it is not eligible for an award. All accepted entries must remain on display until August 29, 2026.
The Club retains the right to reject any inappropriate or inappropriately framed entry. Drop off accepted entries at Toledo Artists’ Club, at the date and time given below. All flat work entries to be displayed in the gallery must be suitably framed except for gallery-wrapped canvases. All flat work entries (except for oil paintings and acrylic paintings) must be presented with clear acrylic glazing(plexiglass). Soft pastels may be glazed with clear glass. All flat work entries must be ready to hang with a wire on the back. Artwork must remain on display for the duration of the exhibit. Saw-tooth hangers are not acceptable. Back labels will be provided to the artists for the accepted works. Each submitted piece must have a label attached to the back of it.

- Artwork delivered to the Club: July 29 & July 31, between 12:00 and 4:00 pm
- Tentative meet & greet: Sun., Aug. 1st, 1-3pm
- Artwork picked up from the Club: Sept 1 & 2, between 12:00 and 4:00 p.m.
Eligibility and Entry Fee
Toledo Artists’ Club (TAC) members: $35.00 for one, two, or three pieces.
The fee is paid when submitting entries.
Entry Procedure
- Having the following information and images ready before completing the application will make the process faster and more efficient.
- Name, address, email, phone number
- Artwork title, media, materials, dimensions (Important: dimensions stated MUST be
the framed size.) - Retail price
- Images of artwork
- Complete the application below.
- The contact information must be accurate; the email address and phone number provided will be used to contact you regarding your submission.
Image files should be in high-quality JPEG format, not exceeding 2MB in size, and 1,920 pixels on the longest side.
A maximum of three (3) images may be submitted. - The Club retains the right to reject any entry it considers inappropriate.

- Each uploaded file name must contain your first initial, last name, the title of the work, and medium. Separate all initials and words with an underscore; do not use a space.

- Please follow the file naming example carefully

PLEASE NOTE that entries without properly sized and labeled images may be disqualified until they meet the image submission requirements.

Awards
The juror chosen by the Toledo Artists’ Club Board Members will select these awards:
- Best of Show: $100.00
- First Place: $75.00
- Second Place: $50.00
- Third Place: $25.00
- Four Honorable Mention Certificates.
- One People's Choice Award
The People's Choice Award is selected by visitors to Toledo Artists’ Club during the exhibit by voting for their favorite work. The artist whose work receives the most votes will receive the People's Choice Award. The winning artwork and recognition will be exhibited at the Toledo Artists' Club.
Artwork sales information
You may set a price and mark your artwork for sale or mark it not-for-sale (NFS). Leave the figures $00.00 in the price field on the application if you don't wish to sell a piece.
The contact information of any buyer will be provided to the artist shortly after the close of the exhibit. The artist is responsible for arranging the delivery to the purchaser of any work sold. For all work that is sold, the sale price minus
a commission (25%) to Toledo Artists’ Club will be remitted to the artist within 30 days of the end of
of the show.
